Wedding Plans

Rachael's wedding shower was a good opportunity to play with the babies and eat some delicious afternoon tea.

Jack's drawing skills are evolving before our very eyes. He did this drawing all on his own and called us over to talk about the piece. The larger brown doodle to the left is a dragon and the other ones are (clockwise from right to left) Grandpa, Daddy, Jack, Mummy, Nanna, Pop and Uncle Mike at the top.


This piece of art was done with Jack new rollers. He sings 'roll, roll, roll over here, over there' as he works.

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning is house work time and we usually stay in our pj's and have a nice breakfast before the work starts. When the Disney movie finishes (there are no cartoons on Sundays) we turn up the stereo and Jack follows from room to room and helps out where he can. At some stage this morning I was starting another load of washing when I noticed I'd lost him to my iPhone!


It amazes me the way he can unlock the phone and navigate the touch screen menu to find his games/ photos and videos.


It is also amazing to me that after only playing this game a few times that he can already find the 'hexagon' by recognising the word. Scary!

There are hundreds of games to add and most of them are educational. Does a 2 year old really need and iTouch for Christmas? An iTeddy might be more like it.

OH BOY!

We took Jack to our 20 wk ultrasound on Monday and he wasn't at all interested in seeing the baby on the monitor. He played quietly with his iPhone apps while we had a close look at our new baby. The baby wriggled and wriggled and it took a good 30mins before it was finally revealed that he is certainly a HE!

Everything measured perfectly and the due date is still on Jack's birthday. I am having deja vous at every medical appointment because it all happened at exactly the same time of year, exactly 3 years ago.

He has a very cute profile. I think he has Jack's nose :)

Molly's brother

We have had some strange weather this month so while it rained outside Molly took the opportunity to put on some Hi 5 and introduce her new brother to Jack. They were both very gentle with baby O but when he was put down for a nap they played wrestling on the bean bag.

Baby Oscar

Baby Oscar David Kemmis was born this morning. A big birthday surprise for his Aunty and Uncle who also have our birthday today!

Jack and I had a great weekend. Jack played with baby Sam on Saturday morning and then we had a long nap before Curry Night. Curry Night was a HUGE success and all the kids played happily and had a great time while we enjoyed some good food and good company. Rowan & Luke (just 3 months old) were just too cute but I was so glad to hand them back when I needed some free hands to eat with or after Rowan puked on me. Gah! Jules made my birthday request of the Master Chef sticky date pudding. She has won herself the no.1 place on my FaceBook friends list!

Today we went to swimming and did the shopping, we washed, mopped, cooked and cleaned and before we knew it Stu was home. We danced on the toy box and sang ABC. It's good to have some energy back!
