Christmas Day
Jack was excited that Santa had come from the North Pole to his house on Christmas morning. He valued each present and wanted to take a good selection to grandpa's house for lunch. As we were pulling out of the driveway he insisted that Stu run through the pouring rain to get his new 'rescue pack.'The Duncan boys put on a delicious lunch although we were all missing Grandma. The uncles gave Jack some very cool presents, a remote control car and the Buzz Lightyear arms.

The Motbey's enjoyed a huge roast dinner with all the trimmings. Stu made Chocolate Fudge and Espresso Crepe cake for dessert.

Yarralumla Train
We went on an adventure this morning to find the Yarralumla Heritage Nursery to pick up some unique Christmas gifts. Jack was pretty helpful in choosing the gifts so we went looking for the Thomas Train and had a picnic lunch. He chatted all the way home about the things he was going to tell Daddy that he saw on the train ride.

Almost 3
Jack is almost 3 and there are only 3 weeks until he becomes a big brother. We are making the most of our precious time together before the little brother comes.

Wish Merry Twismas
The Motbey family got right into the Christmas spirit with Carols at the War Memorial on Friday night. Jack had been practicing singing carols in the car all week and his favourite ones were 'Wish you a Merry Christmas' and 'Santa Claus is coming.' This morning he was able to sing, ' Wish you a merry Christmas from the bottom of my heartttt.' Jack was super excited to see Santa at the War Memorial and we enjoyed a picnic dinner full of gormet food with Jack's favourite people Molly, Oscar and Nanna.
It got quite cold as the night went on and Jack fell asleep under a blanket just after 9. He said, 'It's dark. I tired. I go bed now.' It was so beautiful to hold my baby while he slept on my lap and sing to the carols under the stars.

Whoa baby!
On a routine ultrasound appointment this morning Jack's little brother decided to show his face in 4D. We certainly weren't expecting a 4D image let alone to see his face! The ultrasound technician was impressed that she was able to get a good picture and she measured the baby to be 2.9kgs and estimated a 3.5kg weight at delivery. Jack could clearly see the baby on the monitor and shouted, 'There is baby *******.'
