Happy Birthday Boy

Jack had the most awesome birthday party today. Everyone was so cool and relaxed and Jack was so excited that all of his best friends were there.

Nanna and Molly who was being especially cute.

Kai figured out the slides and was up and down.

Gye bought the favourite present and the ball got some good use.

We were so glad that the baby brother didn't make an appearance at the party as he has been threatening to the last couple of days. *waddle, waddle*

And Jack loved his pool party cake complete with Dora and Boots by his request.

Oscar had a beautiful swim and napped the afternoon away.

Mini Q

We ventured out to Questacon to enjoy our second last baby free weekend. Jack loved the Mini Q but he also enjoyed the bigger Questacon displays, especially the dinosaurs! He can now recognise the Stegasaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Tera dactyl .

We had a melt down when we had to leave. I think he wanted to stay forever but we enjoyed a Hogs Breath lunch in the city before we went home and slept for 3 hours.

Baby Sam came over for dinner and as bed time drew nearer the boys were exhausted so they were glued to Toy Story.

Christmas Day

Jack was excited that Santa had come from the North Pole to his house on Christmas morning. He valued each present and wanted to take a good selection to grandpa's house for lunch. As we were pulling out of the driveway he insisted that Stu run through the pouring rain to get his new 'rescue pack.'

The Duncan boys put on a delicious lunch although we were all missing Grandma. The uncles gave Jack some very cool presents, a remote control car and the Buzz Lightyear arms.

Oscar had no idea what all the fuss was about.

But Molly and Jack tore into the presents at Nanna's house.

The Motbey's enjoyed a huge roast dinner with all the trimmings. Stu made Chocolate Fudge and Espresso Crepe cake for dessert.

And finally the rain stopped 2 days later and Jack was able to give the trampoline a go. He loved it!

Urban Family Christmas

Christmas by the lake was beautiful this year and the Urban Family continues to grow.

As does my 36 week belly despite some troubles with swelling and high blood pressure earlier in the day. Feeling very puffy in the heat.

Jack taught Sam a thing or two about cricket.

And the kids exchanged gifts and then compared.

Merry Christmas!
