Hanging on the line
Jack is so helpful. He had a great sleep over party last night at Beth and Grace's house. They had pizza and fizzy drink but they haven't learnt anything about sleep-overs yet because they were all fast asleep by 8.30.

Roses and Arum Lilies
Here are tonight's creations.
Jack asked to do a wee this afternoon and he has been dry all week when at home. He is so good! When he rang Nan R the conversation went like this:
N: Hello
M: Jack has something he's like to tell you
J: Hello Nan
N: What did you do Jack?
J: WEE WEE
N: Did you do a wee on the toilet?
J: Lolly
N: Did you get a lolly?
J: And Buzz (as in Buzz Lightyear)
N: You are such a good boy Jack!
J: BYE *Mwah*

Homework
I've done my homework tonight and I'm happy with how it's going. I'm getting a nice little collection of flowers (although none are finished yet.) I'm not sure what to do with them when they are all complete.
Jack's allergy test was difficult as it required him to sit still for 20mins (that didn't happen) but we did get a positive reaction for grass so we will keep the antihistamine in his bag for next time.
Tomorrow we are going to the place where Grandma will rest in peace. We are taking some of her favourite roses. Mother's Day is coming soon so we will make sure to take some more flowers on that day too. We have been thinking about Grandma a lot lately, we miss having her around. She would have loved my sugar flowers.

This is me
I am in my prime at 27 so I thought I would post this so I could remember what it was like.
I've heard that you are most beautiful when you get married and your brain function peeks at 27 and then it's all down hill from here.

Allergies
It has been a busy week at work. I have a new student who is keeping me on my toes and both assistants have called up sick. Stu has been out on training all week.
You can imagine the scene of us in the morning as Jack likes to sleep in until 7.30 and then we rush, rush to get out the door by 8.
8 o'clock this morning was when I noticed Jack starting to itch his knee. Within 10mins hives were covering both his legs and after 30mins his face started to go red, swollen and blotchy. We were straight to the doctor and Jack did a wee in a cup. The test showed nothing so we booked an allergy test for Saturday.
After all of the stress Jack got a Woody doll which he took to bed for his afternoon nap and he carried it around all afternoon. We visited Nanna at work and got a lolly and some stamps and then we had dinner with Grandpa for Uncle Jame's birthday and Grandpa showed me how to eat cake with a spoon.

My Mummy is Here
I picked Jack up early from daycare yesterday and as I approached the door I clearly heard Jack yell, 'My Mummy is here!' He is so excited when I come and pick him up these days and he is so happy to play with the other pre-school kids at Rose's house. There is never a tear or even a dummy.
Jack was pretty excited to see Kai today too and the boys played 'cheers' with their bananas and held them like olympic torches as they ran around the back yard.
Tayliah is just quiet and beautiful and she is crawling around and standing up on furniture. Her mum goes back to work in 3 weeks but she is so lucky that her nanny is coming to look after her and Kai.

Canberra Day
Jack and Sam tore up the backyard on the quad bike this morning while the parents enjoyed fresh scones and tea.
Then we made the most out of an overcast and cool day by paddle boating to the museum and back. As soon as we hopped off the boats the sun came out.
Mr. Grumpy was stressed that either the iphone or the boy were going overboard but the boy and I had a good time anyway.

Cake Decorating update
Jules and I are the only two students left in the course. Even the teacher left us tonight!
You have to see it to believe it.
Here are the flowers so far...

Canberra Show
Jack loved the animals and skipped around the farmyard nursery. He was over whelmed with all the excitement of the fire trucks, animals and noise.
The Motbey's all had some pretty 'phat' tatts to show off before we went to see the V8 hilux precision driving team.
